Le Puy is 36 miles east of Limoges and the main A20 north/south autoroute, 1 hours drive from the airport.

The estate is in the commune of St Junien La Bregere half way between the towns of Peyrat-le-chateau and Bourganeuf on the D940. Peyrat-le-chateau is the nearest village to fetch fresh bread and croissants from the local boulangerie and has other small shops and amenities.

The airport at Limoges has frequent flights from the UK. Ryanair fly from Stanstead, Nottingham and Liverpool. Flybe from Southampton. There are several car hire firms at the airport. Check out www.aeroportlimoges.com for further information.

Lake Vassiviere is a fifteen-minute drive away. Skiing at Mont Dore can be reached in around 90 minutes.

The Dordogne is a two-hour drive to the south.

The properties are set in the middle of the Chateau La Grilliere Estate. The chateau dates back to the 15th century and was owned by the Lavablanche family from then until 2001.

The houses are set on high ground next to the swimming pool and a large barn.
